Jani-King of Eastern Ontario · Commercial cleaning, Kingston
Commercial cleaners out of Kingston, twenty years across Eastern Ontario — and a UA FEST backer in 2024.
Jani-King of Eastern Ontario is the Kingston regional office of Jani-King, a commercial cleaning company that works through locally owned franchises. Its own page calls the region locally owned and operated, and says it cleans for hundreds of businesses throughout Eastern Ontario. The office is at 221 Concession Street in Kingston.
The work is commercial rather than domestic. The region offers full cleaning programmes, floor and carpet care packages, washroom deep cleaning and post-construction cleaning, along with disinfection services using products that it describes as Health Canada registered and broad spectrum virucidal, applied by pump, battery or manual sprayers. Its pages sort clients by building type: office buildings, auto dealerships, healthcare and medical facilities, industrial plants.
The region has spread out from Kingston and now lists operations in Kingston, Belleville, Brockville, Cornwall, Peterborough and Trenton. In February 2018 it was named the official cleaning company of the Leon's Centre, the 6,700-seat sports and entertainment venue in downtown Kingston that is home to the OHL Kingston Frontenacs; the arena carried that name from 2018 to 2024 and has been Slush Puppie Place since. The job put a day porter on site Monday to Friday and a crew on every event, before, during and after. In January 2026 its Cobourg-based team refinished the original terrazzo floor in the entrance of the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope.
On 7 November 2025 the region marked its twentieth anniversary at its annual Franchise Development Day in Kingston, with franchise owners, supplier partners and staff in the room. Regional Director Jerry Silveira said the milestone was something the team was proud of, and added: “what means even more is celebrating it with the Franchisees who made it possible.”
Community events run right through their news page. They sponsored Heritage Day 2022 with the India-Canada Association of Kingston, sponsored a Halloween evening for more than 1,000 children at the Children’s Safety Village in Belleville in 2024, took a hole sponsorship at the Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce golf tournament, and spent a United Way KFL&A Day of Caring working on the grounds at Ryandale Fieldstone. UA FEST belongs on that list too: Jani-King of Eastern Ontario backed the festival in 2024.
Commercial and janitorial cleaning programs, floor and carpet care, washroom deep cleaning, post-construction cleaning, plus 24-hour emergency service; also offers cleaning franchise opportunities.

Their Cobourg team refinished the antique terrazzo floor in the theatre’s original entrance in January 2026.
Cleaning student housing between residents, with units sometimes turned around within 24 hours of a move-out.
Deep cleaning, disinfectant spraying and high-touch sanitizing, day or night, with Health Canada registered products.
They sell unit franchises across the region, with training and help winning and keeping clients, and a special package for serving and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
