Before You Apply
Vendor requirements
- Every vendor provides a $5,000,000 Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Carleton Place and Ukrainian Community of Lanark County as additional insureds
- Fees are sent after your application, matched to your booth type — applying is free
- Food vendors may also need food-handling certification and local health approval
- Your own tent, table and signage
- On-time setup before opening and teardown after close — exact times confirmed after your application is reviewed
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis — apply early for the best chance at your preferred space
Insurance
Every table on site carries its own certificate
The Town of Carleton Place requires a $5,000,000 liability certificate from every vendor on site — food, craft, retail alike — naming the Town and Ukrainian Community of Lanark County as additional insureds. We collect those certificates and submit them; the Town's insurer reviews them, and a table cannot open without one.
Craft, retail and community tables
Your own $5,000,000 certificate, naming the Town and UCLC — from about $29 for the day through VendorPolicy, or through your own broker.
Food and beverage booths
The same $5,000,000 certificate, and the health unit's requirements for preparing food on site on top of it.
In their event search, type UAFest and pick “UAFest 2026 - Ukrainian Festival near Ottawa”.

Apply first and the team sends you the fee for your type of booth, with the terms in writing. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing — it lets us match your setup to a space and quote the right number, including the arrangement food booths run on. Nothing is charged before you agree to it.
Yes — every vendor, whatever you sell. The Town of Carleton Place asks for a $5 million liability certificate naming The Corporation of the Town of Carleton Place and Ukrainian Community of Lanark County as additional insureds, held through setup, the festival day and teardown. The Town's insurer reviews every certificate before a vendor is allowed on site. Wait until your table is accepted, then arrange cover: VendorPolicy sells short-term online coverage from about $29 — search “UAFest 2026 - Ukrainian Fest Lanark County” in their event search and the additional insureds are already on file. If you already carry suitable business coverage, use that instead.
All booths are outdoor spaces at Riverside Park, and vendors bring their own tent, table and signage. Tell us your setup and space needs in the application — the volunteer team matches your space to your vendor type when they review it.
The volunteer team reviews applications on a rolling basis, so the earlier you apply, the sooner you'll hear back — and the better your chance at your preferred space.
