Every table carries its own $5,000,000 certificate naming the Town and UCLC. We collect them and hand them to the Town, whose insurer reviews each one before the festival.
Every vendor needs their own insurance certificate
The Town of Carleton Place asks every vendor on site for their own certificate at a $5,000,000 limit — food, craft, retail and community tables alike. The festival's own policy covers the festival, not your table. We collect the certificates and submit them; the Town's insurer reviews each one before a vendor is allowed on site.
The Town sends every certificate to its own broker for approval before the festival, and that review needs time. A booth whose certificate arrives after Thursday cannot be permitted to operate.
That is basic cover at the $5 million limit the Town requires — enough for the festival. Adding product liability costs roughly $54. Your exact price appears before you pay.
