Plan Your Visit

Visiting the Festival

Very much so. There's a dedicated kids' zone, family activities and workshops running all day.

Yes — UAFest is a gathering point for families, newcomers, volunteers, local residents and friends of Ukraine, and a free day of food, music, dance and craft for the whole community, Ukrainian and Canadian alike. Everyone is welcome — bienvenue à toutes et à tous.

Yes — the Ukrainian Cuisine zone serves borscht, varenyky, sausage and sweets from Ukrainian kitchens (plus the varenyky-eating contest), and the Ukrainian Tavern offers a cozy space for traditional food, drinks and hospitality.

Yes — the Kids' Zone has games, crafts and entertainment to keep the youngest guests happy all day, plus family activities and workshops running all day.

Free — general admission is free for everyone. Food, drinks and market items are sold separately by individual vendors.

UAFest takes place at Riverside Park, Lake Ave W, Carleton Place, ON. See our Location & Parking page for maps and directions.

Yes — parking is free along Lake Ave W, on both sides of the entrance arch. The closer left strip fills first, so allow a few extra minutes if you arrive after 12:30. Directions are on our Location & Parking page.

Ride with the Unity Ride & Drive convoy as a passenger: register in advance on the Unity Ride & Drive page and choose “I'd like a seat in someone's vehicle”, so the organisers can match you with a driver. The column gathers in Ottawa from 10:00 AM and leaves at 11:00 sharp. The exact meeting point is sent to you once you register. Coming by car? Free parking along Lake Ave W on both sides of the entrance.

UAFest goes ahead in any weather. If rain is in the forecast, bring a raincoat or an umbrella.

Yes, dogs on a leash are welcome. Please clean up after them.

Getting Involved

Yes — we offer a great opportunity to showcase your products, food, or services to thousands of festival attendees. Visit our Vendors page to see who can apply and submit your application.

Yes — UAFest runs entirely on volunteer energy. Visit our Volunteer page to see the roles available, give a few hours and meet your community.

Yes — fill out the inquiry form on our Sponsors page with your business details and preferred tier or zone, and our team will follow up with full package details and pricing.

Musicians, dancers, choirs, workshop leaders and more can apply through our Performers page — fill out the application form with your act details, and the team will follow up.
