About
KOZAK SISTERS is a Canadian ethno folk music group — a collaboration of many talents, created by two sisters from Toronto and Kyiv in 2022 with the patriotic mission to sing the original Ukrainian songs of their mother, poetess Tatyana Bila.
They sing and play authentic Ukrainian instruments: kobza, pipe, hurdy-gurdy, drymba and violin. Their music combines ethnic tradition with electronic production, dance and pop culture.
The FM release "Ukrainian White Dove" came in 2023, the debut album "Blackberry Pie" in 2024, and their debut Toronto concert filled the Plast Huculak Centre as a fundraiser for Ukraine. Their songs are on seven streaming platforms.
They perform at UAFest 2026 in Carleton Place on 13 September.

Ukrainian music in Canada
Kozak Sisters are based in Toronto, Ontario, with one of the sisters in Kyiv. They play Ukrainian community events across Ontario — their debut concert filled the Plast Huculak Centre in Etobicoke as a fundraiser for Ukraine — and they travel for festivals, weddings and private concerts.
In the Ottawa Valley they play UAFest on 13 September 2026 in Riverside Park, Carleton Place — an hour from Ottawa, free to attend, with a full day of Ukrainian music, food and craft.
