Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA)

The Ontario Clean Water Agency is an agency of the Government of Ontario. It operates and maintains water and wastewater systems across the province — the plants and pipes that decide what comes out of a tap in a small town.

OnTap is the part of that work the public actually sees. The portable water units are booked free of charge and wheeled into community events, and the agency is plain about why: tap water is a healthy source of hydration, it saves residents money, and it cuts down on wasteful plastic bottles. The units are maintained by certified water treatment operators working to strict operational guidelines and public health regulations, and they are offered in municipalities where OCWA runs the water or wastewater systems.

At UAFest 2026 the OnTap station stands on the festival grounds for the whole day. Bring a bottle; fill it as often as you like; it costs nothing.
