Rotary partnership between two countries — partner of UAFest 2026
The standing link between Canadian and Ukrainian Rotary — and one of the partners behind the festival.
An Intercountry Committee is Rotary's own mechanism for a lasting tie between two countries: a network of clubs or districts in two or more countries, formed with the approval of their district governors. Rotary's description of what they are for is plain — they give districts a framework for lasting international partnerships, and through those relationships clubs find reliable partners abroad, exchange experience and carry out humanitarian projects together. There are more than three hundred such committees worldwide.
The Canada–Ukraine committee is the one that matters here. UAFest 2026 lists it among its partners, alongside Rotary District 7040, District 2232 in Ukraine, and the clubs of West Ottawa, Arnprior, Chesterville and Kharkiv Friends — the same network that carries the Rushnyk of Unity along its route through Europe and now North America.
