About
Starsky Fine Foods is a European specialty supermarket: delis and cheeses, dairy, frozen and grocery shelves stocked from across Europe alongside local products. Its stores are in Mississauga, Hamilton and Toronto, and it delivers to Ottawa and other Canadian cities — which is how a Carleton Place festival ends up cooking with its food.
For UAFest 2026 Starsky donated part of the salo for the festival kitchen, confirmed by the festival's own team on 10 September. On a Ukrainian table salo is not a garnish; it is the thing people look for first, and someone had to give it.
