Taisiia Mnishenko led the drone team that filmed UAFest 2024 in Lanark County, Ontario. The festival credits its official 2024 aftermovie as filmed on the ground and by drone by Denys Savchenko with the Taisiia Mnishenko drone team, and repeats that credit in its press materials.
Flying a camera sits close to her training. Her own Facebook profile lists studies at the National Mining University of Ukraine from 2015 to 2019 and at Politechnika Wrocławska. She went on to the University of Jaén in Spain, which in April 2021 handed out 36 Extraordinary Master's Prizes for the 2019-2020 academic year; hers was in the Master's in Applied Geodetic and Geophysical Engineering.
Her name also appears in the abstracts of “Widening Our Horizons”, the 15th International Forum for Students and Young Researchers held by Dnipro University of Technology on 20-21 May 2020, with a paper comparing the corrections obtained during RTK positioning using the Near, Max and I-Max methods.
She was born and grew up in Dnipro. Diario JAÉN, writing in March 2022, records the two and a half years she spent in Jaén as a University of Jaén scholarship holder, with an internship at the firm Ofiteat.
The festival she filmed returns to Riverside Park in Carleton Place on Sunday, 13 September 2026, from noon to 6 PM.
