The beautiful little shop in the heart of downtown Carleton Place.
The Floral Boutique is a flower shop in the heart of downtown Carleton Place, Ontario, at 113 Bridge St. Erica Zwicker and her husband Barry founded it and run it. On their About page they write that they bring more than twenty years in the floral industry to the counter, and that the shop has a twelve-year history of, in their words, bringing happiness in the shape of flowers.
Everything is made in the store. The arrangement is designed at the moment of the order, around the colours, the style and the budget of the person asking. Their FAQ says a customer may bring in their own vase or container, ask for particular flowers when those flowers are in season, and add a card the shop writes out by hand at no charge.
The everyday shelves are hand-tied bouquets, blooms in vases, plants and gift cards. On their own shop, hand-tied bouquets and vase arrangements start at $60, plants run $60 to $75, and gift cards are sold from $25 to $150. Funeral work is priced separately: sympathy arrangements from $150, urn arrangements from $200, casket sprays from $300. Wedding flowers begin with an enquiry form on their wedding page.
Delivery goes out the same day on orders placed before 1 PM, within Carleton Place and the area around it. The shop delivers inside a 25 km radius; the fee starts at $10 in town and is calculated by distance at checkout. There are no Sunday deliveries. Someone from the shop telephones the recipient before every delivery to confirm the address and agree on a time, and deliveries go to homes, local businesses, care facilities and funeral homes alike.
The shop backed UA FEST in 2024, which is how it entered the festival's family. The festival grounds are in its own town: Riverside Park on Lake Ave W.

The festival grounds are in the same small town. UAFest takes place in Riverside Park on Lake Ave W, which the festival describes as 45 minutes from Ottawa — so for anyone driving out from the city on 13 September, the shop is in the same town as the park.

Within Carleton Place and the surrounding area, inside a 25 km radius. Delivery in town starts at $10 and the final fee is worked out by distance at checkout. No, and they say so themselves: the arrangement is custom designed at the time of the order, taking its cue from your style and colours, so it will not be identical to the picture. Particular flowers can be asked for when they are in season, colours and styles can be adjusted to a budget, and you are welcome to bring in your own vase or container.
Both. Weddings start with the enquiry form on their wedding page, where they also show flowers from earlier weddings. For a Celebration of Life they publish their starting prices: sympathy arrangements from $150, urn arrangements from $200, casket sprays from $300, with delivery to local funeral homes inside their radius.
